Zachry Engineering has moved its headquarters into The Denver Post building at 101 W. Colfax Ave.
The company is on the fifth floor of the building, which was vacated when the state’s Supreme Court and judicial administration offices moved to the Ralph L. Carr Justice Center at 12th Avenue and Broadway.
The Denver Post last year hired Jones Lang LaSalle to market nearly 100,000 square feet of space on the first, fifth and eighth floors of the Post building left vacant by the court’s move.
The Post leases the entire building from American Properties.
Gerald Burke, president of Zachry Engineering Group, said location was a prime consideration for the move, which brought 130 employees to the site.
The workers were previously on four floors at at Park Central Building at 1515 Arapahoe St.
The company has designed more than 40,000 megawatts of power plant capacity and provided engineering and design services to approximately half of the United States fleet of commercial nuclear power plants.
